Daily Revelation

“Though the vision tarry wait for it”. April 24, 2010

Praise God!! Good Morning Everyone!

Our hearts are so filled with amazement,  joy and praise this morning! We are seeing God open doors that no man can shut! We are seeing God place us exactly where he wants us. Even in those first few days that God put Pastor Rick and I together we spoke about the vision God had for us and as he expanded the vision, we wrote down what he spoke to us and we prayed. He began opening one door at a time. He sent us here, and we were faithful. We moved us there, and we where faithful, He sent us somewhere else and we were faithful, and over and over the pattern began. He started linking us up with precious people for His plan and purpose!

Habakkuk 2

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Are you standing upon your watch and are you watching to see what he will say to you? It takes a diligent and willing heart to hear Gods plan for you, it won’t come by accident. You have to make the decision, that you want to set yourself apart from the things of this world and you WANT to hear what he will say to you.  The next part of this verse is ” and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” In other words, what will your reaction be if God wants you to make changes in your life, if he wants you to lay down a certain habit you have, or go to a certain church that is alot further away than where you are going now. Maybe he even wants you to change the people you are associating with now…. What will your reaction be when you do hear God’s voice?

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The Lord spoke to Habakukka to write the vision and make it plain. When God begins to speak to you about His Plan and Purpose for your life you need to take notice. You need to WRITE IN DOWN! I tell you that this is a very important step for a believer, who really wants to walk step by step in the plan and purposes of God. He usually will not give you the whole vision at once, He will give you the first step. When you do this and you speak the vision with others, they will come beside you and run with you.  We have seen this happen so much in our lives, Especially in the last few months.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I want to share with you what God has done in our lives and show you how important this verse is! This verse is true and we are a living testimony of it. I was single for 13 years and believed God with all my heart for my “Godly Husband”.  I spoke it continually and prayed without ceasing. He did not show up exactly when I had expected him or on those lonely nights when I desired a companion, BUT he came at the APPOINTED TIME. Then even as we got married and God gave us a vsion for our family, marriage and ministry things did not happen over night!! They had an APPOINTED TIME!! It is a little over a year and half ago that God began to put the vision for our ministry together. He gave us the first step and we did it, then the next and then the next and so on. This week we entered into the beginning of the fullness of what God has for us!!  I prayed about a month ago during worship and said, Lord I know you have called Rick and I into fulltime ministry, I release it to you right now to do whatever you want. I went into my job the next morning and my employer spoke to me about being laid off because the business had slowed down….. WOW!! That was the beginning of the NEW that God had for us at this time! Again it didn’t come when I thought it would but here it is.  We begin the new, this Sunday as we hold our FIRST service in our new church/thrift store building. God has given us a building to have a thrift store to not only help finance the ministry , but mainly as a tool to minister to people on a daily basis! We are not even opened yet and have had people come in and ask for prayer! It is AWESOME!!! Then on the other side of the building is the church!!  God has also brought help from the sanctuary!
4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

It is a walk of Faith to find out what God has for you to do and then start taking those steps one at a time! Believe me, as you do this he will be right there providing what you need.  We moved into the new building and didn’t know why the water wasn’t on, we weren’t aware that we needed to set up an account with a desposit. Well when we went down there and found out how much the deposit was, it was more than in the bank account, BUT GOD!!! He had it covered and supplied the need!

 Jeremiah 29:11:
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

I want to encourage you today that God has a plan for you, and it is a GOOD plan. It is a plan for your welfare, your peace. He has a final outcome in mind. You just need to want it and seek after it with all your heart! And once you start and you receive the vision from the Lord, write it down, hold fast to it and NEVER let go of it, because though the vision tarry wait for it, for it will surely come!

Below are a couple of pictures of the church and the thrift store in progress. We have Church service on Sundays at 2 pm with free dinner served afterwards, Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 we serve free hot meals to anyone who comes and then at 6pm we have a Recovery in ChristClass for those who are Recovering from any addictions and seeking biblical study on that subject. Then on Thursday evening we have our mid-week service at 7 pm. We also are connected with the ministry that feeds the hungry at the park also on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Zephyrhills. And the thrift store is in progress and should be up and running in a short time.

We would love you to come visit at anytime.

God Bless You,

Pastor Carol

Supernatural Provision in Time of Need March 22, 2010

Good Morning Everyone!!

I am so excited to be in the word of God today!! I am so excited that no matter what the circumstances look like that we are going through, God’s word NEVER changes!! He is a Faithful God and will never leave us or forsake us. “My God will supply all of your needs according to his riches in Glory”

I know that the economy right now is effecting many people these days both believers and non-believers. Being in the ministry we have had the opportunity to meet alot of people lately that are really in a Time of Need. I don’t know how these economic times are affecting you, but no matter what your need is right now, I believe your answer is in the word of God!

God will meet us wherever we are…..I have always been taught that when you are going through something, that you go and search the scriptures for the answers for that particular circumstance, so that is what we will do this morning!!

God is a God of Supernatural Provision!! We just need to see what OUR PART is and then line up with His Word!!!

Lets start in  1 Kings 17 :

1 Kings 17

1And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

2And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

The first thing we must have is the WORD OF THE LORD! God is a faithful God and if you are seeking Him, you WILL find Him!! We have to make sure that we are being led by His word and not the external cirucumstances of this world we live in.

3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

We need to make sure we are in the PLACE that God has for us to be, no matter what it looks like in the naural, either we trust God or we don’t, there is no in between!!! Our ways are not His ways and sometimes we believe we know how God is going to supply a need… I am asking you this morning to BE OPEN to the word that God gives you. To the natural mind it may seem crazy, but we need to receive the word of God into our Spirit and Trust it!  To the natural mind, the thought of Ravens feeding a man is crazy, but that was God’s provision for Elijah at that time.

5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

Elijah was obedient to go where God told him to go and trusted God’s provision and it came to pass, just as God had said.

7And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

Uh Oh….Change is here…… I don’t know how Elijah was, but I tend to get uncomfortable with change, trusting God for the next step isn’t always easy……………. Time to get the current instructions….

8And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

Lets look at the situation here and how God is handling it and it may give you a new insight on ways he may direct you and provide for you. In the first situation, God commanded nature to be the prophets provision, It was an unusual source of supply, but God spoke it and it was so!!!

Next he commanded a widow woman…. He used another person to meet the need!! But as you look closer, this widow woman doesn’t look in the natural that she is capable of doing what God has commanded her to do. It said God has commanded a widow woman to sustain you…. Lets go on and look at the situation that Elijah found as he went where the Lord told him to go…

10So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

12And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

This is a key for us to remember! In the natural it did not look like there was provision for either one of them. But it took BOTH of the to be obedient to the WORD of God and the supernatural provision was realeased!!! We cannot live in the spirit realm and judge things with our natural eyes, your natural senses will limit what God can do for you!!! Her future in the natural didn’t look very promising…

13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

The first thing that the prophet told her after she had described the natural circumstances to him, was FEAR NOT, GO AND DO!!! I believe that same thing happens to us today. God tells us to go do something and we are compelled to explain to him the natural circumstances and he responds calmly, FEAR NOT, GO AND DO!!  Then he will explain his promise!

14For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

16And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Wow, Elijah did what God said to do and the widow woman did what she was to do and they and the house were all supernaturally provided for….Praise God…a happy ending no more need for faith or obedience right??? NO….thats not the way God does it!! He wants us to continually be obedient and trust him to lead us!!

This story has so much for us to learn from…. We want to be led to a place of provision like the brook and STAY THERE…. but that is not what God has for us… If Elijah stayed at the brook, he would have died from hunger and so would have the widow women and her son… Our actions not only affect ourselves, but others as well… Well lets go ahead and see what happens next. As you know, tomorrow has problems of its own….

17And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

18And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

Ok, heres another of lifes circumstances staring us in the face, how do we respond?? Here God had brought this woman a word from God and has saved her life and her sons life and provided for the man of God at the same time and the her son dies………….. Why God..are you calling my sin to rememberance and taking away my son???  She is lost of understanding at this point looking at the circumstances in the natural. BUT GOD!!

19And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.

20And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

Even Elijah might not have understood the events happening in the natural realm, but HE KNEW HIS GOD!!!

21And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.

When things don’t look like they should in the natural realm, we have a place to go!! Elijah took the situation to God!! He cried out to him 3 times and God showed himself strong on his behalf!!

22And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

23And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.

24And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

When people see how we handle those tough times in our natural circumstance, they will be able to see God in us, if we are doing things HIS way. Keep the Word of God in your mouth and it will never return void!!

I pray this ministered to you today!! God will give you the word and as you are willing and obedient you will eat the fruit of the land!!

God bless you!

God’s Paths Drip with Abundance! March 11, 2010

Good Morning!!

Praise God this morning for who he is!!! He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, He is my savior, my redeemer, my provider, my father (abba daddy), my healer, my peace,my love, my guide and direction and so much more!! He is truly all we need!!!

Have you ever had God take a scripture from His Word and change it from a word on a page to a word in your heart? That is what He wants to do and that is what he has done with the verse we are going to start with this morning!!

Psalms 65:11

You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your Paths drip with abundance.

If I am going to be under a drip, I want God’s Abundance dripping on me!If I am going to be under a drip, I want it to be God's abundance dripping on me!

I was blessed this week to have a word spoken over me and one of the things God said through a man of God, that this would be the best year ever in my life. I received it immediately!!!! Then the Lord confirmed it in His word with the previous verse above. He is crowning this year with goodness!!! Believe me if God crowns something, it is crowned!!! Kings and Queens are crowned, set apart as rulers….  He has crowned this year, given this year the authority and power to be FILLED with his Goodness! I am so excited about this, because I actually believe it! I believe what God says will come to pass, no matter what the cirucmstances look like!!!! How are you looking at this year?? I encourage you to receive this word with me.. this is the best year of your life, he has crowned this year with His Goodness! Wow, I would think, that would be enough to meditate on, but look at the second part of that verse!! And Your Paths drip with Abundance!

I have done a few teachings on my blogs on paths….and it has been one of the most popular subjects that people search out.

One of my most favorite passages is in Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths!

Do you know why he wants you to trust him? Do you know why he wants you to not lean on your own understanding, do you know why he wants you to acknowledge Him in ALL your ways…………. Because he wants to DIRECT YOUR PATHS…………because HIS PATHS for you DRIP WITH ABUNDANCE!!!

Wow, I pray you can get a picture of this in your spirit and HOLD fast onto it!!

I see 2 paths in front of me……… One is barren and dry and really out in the wilderness…. the other one is dripping with abundance… It is plush and green and has fruit growing all around it…(thats a whole other teaching….Fruit comes when you are on God’s path)

Which path are you choosing today, you have a choice everyday, where you are going in your life. Some people may say things just happen…………..NO you have choices every minute of your day. God said I have set before you life and death..choose life…..

What path are you on and where is it leading?? Go back to proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths!

God has crowned the year with His goodness and His Paths Drip with abundance (Ps 65″11) and how do we receive this promise and walk in the fullness of it, by fulfilling our part in Proverbs 3:5. Are you trusting in God with all your heart? Are you not leaning on your own understanding and are you acknowleding Him in all your ways?

Receive His Promises new and afresh in your life today!!! Enjoy the goodness and Abundance that God has for you to walk in TODAY!!

God Bless you!

Good Morninghave_a_happy_day-3780

Just a quick word this morning before I put my hands to the work God has for me to do today!!! I am so thankful that His Word promises us that He will prosper the work of our hands

His word is Proverbs 3 says that if we acknowledge him in ALL our ways HE will direct our paths. He also said that the steps of the righteous are ordered by Him.

So………. Today as you go about those things that you need to do acknowledge Him and allow Him to take you places that you may have never gone before. Be open to the Holy Spirit inside of you to lead you and guide you today. You may be the answer of prayer of someone, just needing to have someone to listen to…… Be open this morning and Let God use you, there is not a greater honor that to be a vessell fit for the Masters use!!

God Bless You,

FRET NOT??? August 16, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 9:36 am
Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,

Good Morning All,

If you are like me, you may have your favorite paasages in the bible and this morning we are going to explore one of mine from the Old Testament. Psalms 37

The first two words in this chapter is Fret Not!!! My  immediate thought goes to the parrell verse in the New Testament in Philippians 4:6 that says

Do not fret or have any aniety about anything (amplified).08_leap_of_faith_400

Wow, Does that mean always, no matter what you are going through?? When the economy is failing, when jobs are scarce or you receive a paycut, when your health may seems to be failing,or when things seems to be spiraling out of your control??? Or when God is telling you to get out of the boat and the wind and the waves are crashing around you??

YES, I believe it does!!! If we are FRETTING or WORRYING we are out of faith and the following scriptures tells us that whatever is not done IN FAITH is SIN!!!

Passage Romans 14:23:

23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Lets go back to Psalms 37 where we began and look further and the Lord shows us how we can accomplish this seemingly imposssible feat in the natural realm!!!

Psalm 37

[A Psalm] of David.

1FRET NOT yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God).

2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

In these first two scriptures the Lord is telling us to FRET NOT yourselves because of evil doers neither be envious of them.  Have you ever looked at someone or some situation that is ungodly and they seem to be prospering more than you are as a child of God. Or they may seem to be happier or going through less struggles than you?? Well lets look at their fate… Vs 2 tells us that they shall be soon cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb. In other words you reap what you sow!!!!

Passage Galatians 6:8:
8For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

As we go forward in Psalms 37 we find the keys on how to sow to the Spirit. How do we live without fretting or worrying about life and the circumstances that come up in our life. All of these directions are things that we have a choice to do or not to do!! God does not force us to live by His Word, it is a choice we have every day!! BUT he shows us how and tells us the benifits if we choose to do it his way!!!!

3Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.

We need to have FULL TRUST in God and do His Word and we will feed on his FAITHFULNESS. I can’t think of anything better to feed on, and to be sustained by, than GOD”S FAITHFULNESS!! When God promises something HE WILL NEVER BREAK HIS PROMISE!

Other people might break their promises, circumstances might throw you for a loop, BUT GOD!!!

Our part is to First TRUST HIM and DO GOOD.

Then in verse 4 & 5 it says:

4Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

5Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

Delight yourself in the Lord and commit your way to Him. This sounds like total surrender to me!! It sounds like changing your focus and purpose of living from yourself to LIVING FOR HIM!!

How many Christians do you know that are really commiting their way to Him, really focused on how to Delight themselves IN THE LORD and not in the World system of pleasure?

When we truly do it HIS WAY, we see HIS RESULTS:

6And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday.

When we totally surrender to God HE will make things happen, He takes care of those things that we cannot control

7Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

8Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself–it tends only to evildoing.

Here again in these verses he is telling us what to do  and what not to do!! BE STILL AND REST…..That is definitely the opposite of fretting and worrying, sounds alot more peaceful to me!!! It says to patiently lean upon Him!! See he does not leave us alone. He has already equipped us with the precious Holy Spirit, so that Patience to wait is already in us, in the fruit of the Spirit, it is our choice whether to yeild to it or not!!!

Cease from anger or wrath…. See these are fleshly desires. … that we need to lay down at all costs………….as it leads to evil doing!

Sometimes I believe we can all get to a point in our lives where circumstances can be so overwhelming, that we open the door to Fretting or worrying or even anger or wrath! BUT we have another choice!!

This choice is TOTAL SURRENDER to God and His Plan and purpose for your life!! We need the mindset that No matter what we go through WE TRUST God will bring us through and has a plan and purpose for it all!!

TRUST GOD TODAY and lets give up Fretting and Worrying forever!!

He will never leave us or forsake us!!

God Bless You and Keep you!!

Forever in His Love,

Pastor Carol

Seed to Sow and Bread to Eat August 2, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 8:44 am
Tags: , , , , , ,

Good Morning Everyone!

God is so GOOD! I am so blessed this morning and thankful for the Word of God! His WORD will never return void but will accomplish that to which it is sent!!

2 Corinthians 9:10 (Whole Chapter)
And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

The first part of this verse tells us that God provides SEED FOR THE SOWER!

What is a SOWER, and Are You one???

A sower is one who takes seed and puts  it into the ground.

v. sowed, sown (sn) or sowed, sow·ing, sows

v.tr. 1. To scatter (seed) over the ground for growing.

2. To spread (land, for example) with seed.3. To strew something around or over (an area); distribute something over.4. To propagate; disseminate: sow rumors.

v.intr. To scatter seed for growing
As I begin to talk about sowing my thoughts immediately go to the life of a farmer. We have been watching movies and TV show lately about families living in the country on farms or ranches and it has shown what hard work they go through in this life style. It is not easy to plow a field, plant acres of seed, keep the weeds out, keep it protected while growing and then harvest it at the appropriate time.
God provides SEED TO THE SOWER…..
What are some of the seeds he has given you?  He has given us TIME on this earth… Are you sowing your time into the plan and purposes of God.  This is one seed that sometimes we EAT FOR OURSELVES, but we don’t sow it for other….. He gives up finances to sow into the Kingdom of God…. It takes a quick look in our check book to see where your finances are going, Are we sowing them into the kingdom of God or are we EATING them ourselves..
The next part of this verse is that he gives us seed to  sow and Bread to Eat!
As we put him first he provides all of our needs!!

2 Corinthians 9:10 (Whole Chapter)
And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

God is our provider!! As we have made the decision to be a sower of all the seed he gives us, he will MULTIPLY OUR RESOURCES FOR SOWING!!

This is awesome and we have seen God do this in our ministry. We have a heart to give and have told the Lord if he brings it to us, we will allow it to go through us and bless many. We were given the opportunity last week to pick up an abundance of food goods and were able to distrubute it to many families in need!! It was such a blessing to be used by God to pour out his love and provision on others. We are believing that our RESOURCES are being MULTIPLIED for sowing into the kingdom!!

The last part of this verse says that he will increase the fruits of your righteousnes. We are righteousness because of our relationship with Jesus Christ. As we are sowers, he said that the fruits of this righteousness will increase. We want an ever increasing amount of fruit coming forth from our lives. fruit_medley

Bring forth fruit that is consistent with repentance. Matt 3:8
John 15:8

When you bear (produce) much fruit,
My Father is honored and glorified,
and you show and prove yourselves to be
true followers of Mine.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit
is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 7:19

I thank God this morning that He has given us His Word that will not return void. He teaches and instructs us in the way we should go…. Are you sowing what He has given you to sow at this time in your life? It could be your time, your finances, your talents, a word spoke in season to comfort or encourage someone…. Seek God today and He will show you, what he has given you and where he wants it planted.

God bless you

Be Open to God’s Way of doing things! June 22, 2009

Good Morning Everyone!

I woke up this morning with this scripture going through my mind.

Isaiah 55:8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

  • Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.I believe that the reason God has highlighted this, this morning, is so we are open to His way of doing things. You may be believing God for a specific answer to prayer. Be open to any way he wishes to bring it about!!

  • In our personal study, Pastor Rick and I have been studying about the life of Elijah. If you look at Elijahs needs and how God responded, it is probably different than what you would have expected!!
  • 1 Kings 17

2And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

3Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

4And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

5So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

6And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

7And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

8And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

9Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

  • 15And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
  • You may be in a situation even this day where you are waiting for a promise of God to manifest. You may be in a situation you don’t understand why you are going through this. This is a time to ge  before the Lord and give it totally to Him. Elijah got a word from the Lord and followed through with it, even when it seemed crazy to the natural mind….   God used Ravens and a widow women who was preparing to die, to sustain Elijah!!!!!!
  • Many times in the natural we think we see how God can meet a need or bring about a certain promise, most of the times, he uses a TOTALLY different way to do it!!! I believed for 13 years for God to bring my husband. Was it my desire to wait that long, did I enjoy everything I went through to get in the right place to connect with him, NO, but it was worth doing it God’s way. I had a promise and I stuck with it till it came to pass. So I encourage you this morning, if you are watiing on a promise of God to manifest, Don’t give up, be willing to follow the Lord’s leading in your life as Elijah did and He WILL PROVIDE!!
  • There is so much more that I could go into in this teaching, because later in the new testament, we are told we have the mind of Christ , and we can know the mysteries of God…..
  • God will show us and direct us in the way we should go, We need to be seeking His Will and His Ways. Seek the kingdom of God FIRST!!!
  • God bless you this morning!
