Hello Everyone,

As I was studying this week for the sermon on Sunday, God highlighted our need for endurance to be able to Run the Race Of Faith!!! We have had some situations lately that really want to stop us in our tracks, or at least wear us down so we are barely moving in the things God would have us to do. I pray that this message will encourage you and strengthen you!

What is endurance and what does it have to do with our walk with the Lord?

Two commercials came to my mind when I thought of endurance.

#1 The Energizer Bunny…. It never stops

#2 Was an old commercial for Timex, takes a licking and keeps on Ticking!!

Endurance is the fight in you, that will not let you stop

and this fight is fueled by your faith!!!

Right now we are in the middle of the Olympics and if you watch any of the different sports, those athletes have practiced and increased their endurance just to compete in these Olympic games. What drives them? A desire and a belief they can win if they don’t quit.

Heb 10:36  For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Wow, see we need endurance so that after we have done the will of God, (In other words lived our life according to His plan and Purpose), we will receive the Promise… the promise of everlasting life with Him forever…

Heb 10:39  But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

In other words, we need endurance and perserverance as we walk out our life by faith and when it is over and we have not drawn back or quit, we will end our journey on earth in His presence forever.

I think of the many things we endure in the natural realm to acquire something here on earth..You might endure a horrible boss to receive your paycheck each week, or as the athletes in the Olympics you might endures hours of practice and pain to gain that GOLD medal at the end.

But are we willing to endure things for the sake of the Kingdom of God? Or is it easier to just give up and live a life that may be less demanding….

So what do we need endurance in…. we need endurance in our walk of faith!

Or in Hebrews 12:1 it is not called a walk of faith, it is the race of Faith.

Heb 12:1  Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Heb 12:2  looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

So we need endurance in our race of Faith, but what is Faith?

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 11:2  For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

In the rest of this chapter we are given examples of the elders and their testimony of Faith! I don’t have time to go through each example but you may want to study this on your own..

So what are we to do as we run this race of faith with endurance and perserverance?

Heb 12:12  Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,

Heb 12:13  and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Heb 12:14  Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:

In other words there are times when we just have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and get back in the race… Satan would love to take you out of the race or at least get you sidetracked, but BE STRONG in the LORD and in the POWER OF HIS MIGHT!  Remember All things are possible to them who believes!!

God Bless You and Keep You,

What do you do during the “Storms of Life” ? April 22, 2012

Praise God for another opportunity to share the word of God that he has placed on my heart. My prayer is that this word will encourage you and bring for the desired change in your life.

We are going to go to Psalms 34 this morning and Look at a few verses.

Psalm 34

New King James Version (NKJV)

34 I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Wow, What a strong declaration! This is a decision we need to make and then everyday we get an opportunity to walk it out. It is easy to say something or decree something, but are we walking it out, are we doing it???? I believe this statement above can be likened to Hurricane Preparation. Living here in Florida we are all told by the media at the beginning of hurricane season to stock up on hurricane supplies, you cant wait till you are in the middle of the hurricane to go get your supplies, it doesn’t work that way! I believe in the same way we need to be prepared for the storms of life that comes our way. It is a way of life in the spirit that can and will carry us through these storms.

I believe that having a CONTINUAL Heart of Praise and Blessing to God will protect us and carry us through the storm. In Daniel 6:16 we see what the King spoke over Daniel as he commanded him to be thrown into the den of lions.. “Your God whom you serve continually, he will deliver you.”

I think sometimes Christians start following the Lord and are diligent to walk out the word of God but then we slide back. We must be continually blessing, praising and trusting our God!

Back to Psalms 34:2,3
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

Our attitude during a storm will bless others and cause them to join you in believing, trusting and giving praise to God! We saw that even in Daniels actions and the Kings response when Daniel was being thrown in the Lions den! We can be examples during the storms in our lives, that draws others to exalt His name!

I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.

This verse is so important for us to understand!! During the storms in our lives, it matters where you seek help! We must seek God during these hard times in our lives, we must cry out to Him! As you seek Him, you give Him permission to come into the situation …He hears you and delivers you.. Sometimes we are expecting that when we cry out to God he will come and pick us up and take us out of the storm, sorry my friend, but that is not usually the way it happens..verse 4 I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

God has made it possible to go through the storms of life WITHOUT FEAR! As we call out and seek him, he will deliver us from our fears! How does he do that??? When we allow His presence in the middle of our storm, Perfect LOVE comes in and casts out all fear!(1 John 4:18). We are to focus on the Prince of Peace…. I will keep him in perfect peace whose heart and mind in stayed on me. (Isaiah 26:3) So my friend, what are you looking at during your storm..are you looking at the Prince of Peace or at the waves all around you, as Pter did while walking on the water!! I encourage you to diligently praise Him and keep your eyes on Him during the storms of Life
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.

When we look to the author and the finisher of our Faith, we are radiant, in other words we are FULL OF LIGHT!!  FULL of Jesus Himself and His word that will direct us and guide us!  God is right by your side what ever storm you are in right now. Call and to Him with a voice and heart of Praise and He will walk you through this season in your life.

God Bless You and Keep You!

You can join us in our church services live Monday through Friday at 7pm Eastern Time for our teaching Ministry, Believers Grace and then Sunday service at 2pm Eastern Time.

Hows Your Balance? September 18, 2011

Good Morning All,

Praise God , I am up early in Gods word and it is so good to start the day as we should. Sometimes our lives can get so unbalanced and nothing seems to work right. Even in our bodies, there are times we we are unbalanced and its not a good feeling and you may have to take medicine or vitamins to get regulated or balanced. Well in our lives with God it is very importance that we live a balanced life. Let look at a scripture and see why.

1 Peter 5:8

Amplified Bible (AMP)

8Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [[a]in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

We need to be well balanced so that we are not opening a door for Satan to come in and bring destruction on us. We are the ones that have the authority over him and have the responsibility of keep the doors closed. Pastor Rick and I are teaching a course right now on the Believers Authority, it is so important in these last days for the children of God to know who they are and walk in the authority and dominion God has given us. You can catch us live Mon thru Friday at at 7pm Eastern Time and Sundays at 2pm.

Balance is something you have to work on everyday, because there are constantly things coming at us to KNOCK US OFF BALANCE

Isaiah 33:5-6

King James Version (KJV)

5The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

6And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Once of the main ways you can keep you balance is to stay STABLE!! Wisdom and knowledge that come from the word of God shall be the STABILITY of your times!!!!! When you have the wisdom and knowledge of the word of God you can stay balanced and Stable and then you are able to STAND FIRM when an attack comes you way!

Colossians 3:15

Amplified Bible (AMP)

15And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

One of the ways you can tell if you are in BALANCE is by checking your Peace gauge. If you are out of Peace, something is out of balance.

Psalm 147:14

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 He makes peace in your borders,
And fills you with the finest wheat.
When you are walking according to the WORD and Gods plan for your life you with have that Peace from the Holy Spirit within, no matter what circumstances you may be going through. Its an internal Peace.
Psalm 29:11

New King James Version (NKJV)

 11 The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.God desires and has equipped His people to walk in Strength and Peace. If it is God’s desire for us to walk in Perfect Peace why aren’t we, what are some of the things that may be out of Balanced in our lives.

#1 Your thought life: Where is your thought life??

Isaiah 26:3

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
      Because he trusts in You.

Here it tells us that we can be in that PERFECT PEACE (no matter what situation you’re in) IF Your mind (thoughts) are stayed on Him!!

Think of a couple of examples of People in the bible in peace when in the natural it was a bad situation….Daniel in the lions den, the Hebrew children in the Fiery Furnace and Stephen while he is being STONED TO DEATH!!

This is just one of the first teachings on BALANCE, but I want you to know something today, that NO MATTER what storm or trial you are going through today, GOD WILL BALANCE IT OUT WITH HIS PEACE, IF YOU BALANCE OUT YOUR THOUGHTS AND STAY YOUR THOUGHTS AND TRUST ON HIM!!

God Bless You my Friend

Good Morning all,

As I was preparing this morning for this message, I really wasn’t sure what God wanted me to share with you today, but as my morning went along, it became very clear to me where he wanted me to go.

We have been teaching for a couple of weeks on the Believers Authority. It has been a life changing time for those who have really received the word and acted on it. I know it has been changing me! One of the main points we have covered is that we are in a Spiritual Battle as we see here in

Ephesians 6:12

New King James Version (NKJV)

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We as believers need to know who we are against and how we open the doors to allow the attacks to come into our lives. God has given us Authority and Dominion, but most of us are walking in ignorance of what that means and how to walk it out in our lives.

1 Peter 5:8

New King James Version (NKJV)

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Here we see that we have an adversary that is seeking to devour us, but we do not need to be afraid because in the next verse it tells us what to do, WE NEED TO RESIST HIM AND HE WILL FLEE!  The problem comes from an ignorance of not knowing how to resist the devil. Resisting the devil means giving him no place in your life. No place in your thoughts, your words or your actions!

Philippians 4:8

King James Version (KJV)

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Let me tell you a key to living in peace and in the perfect plan of God for your life…. you need to take care of your thought Life and the words of your mouth!! I can’t do that for you, I have a big enough job doing it for myself!! You are responsible for the thoughts coming in your mind and what you choose to do with them!!!

2 Corinthians 10:5

King James Version (KJV)

 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

James 3:16

King James Version (KJV)

16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Isaiah 26:3

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
      Because he trusts in You.

You have to be aware that Envy and strife opens the door to confusion and every form of evil, and when your heart and mind is stayed on Jesus he will keep you in perfect peace. So I guess what I am trying to say is, Yes there is an adversary roaming around to devour you, but you have the power to let him in or not. It is your choice if you live a life in envy and strife where you open up the door for satan to come in or if you live a life of love and peace where God reigns in all you do. One way you can see what is in someones heart, whether it be love and peace or envy and strife is to listen to the words of there mouth!!!!

Luke 6:45

New King James Version (NKJV)

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart[a] brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Whatever is in you will come out of your mouth!!!!! We cannot hide what is in our heart, it will come out eventually in the words of our mouth. Think about the words you have been speaking lately, are they words of faith or fear….Are they words of envy and a\strife or love and peace.

Ephesians 5:18

King James Version (KJV)

 18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

We mainly spoke about love and peace, but as you are filled with the Spirit of the Living God you will be filled with all of the fruits of the spirit. We just a choice everyday of what we ALLOW in us. What are you allowing to fill up your time, your thoughts and your actions???

You can see our services live Monday thru Friday at 7pm Eastern and Sunday at 2pm or catch the recorded messages. We record the worship also, but make sure you don’t tune out to soon, get the word too!!

Will you do whatever it takes to be in His Presence? June 11, 2011

Good Morning!

We are in Zephyrhills, FL and we are hungry for the presence of God. In November, the Lord told us to go to extended meetings in our church and we did so! We are still meeting Mon thru Friday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. The last two weeks the presence of the Lord has gotten stronger and stronger as we sit, stand, lay, kneel in his presence for hours worshiping him. We have to get hungry for His presence and willing to let him do what He longs to do! He wants to be with you!!

When you are desperate, you will do desperate things. For example, some people will stand in line all night for concert tickets, sport event tickets or even for sales on the day after Thanksgiving! If you really want something you will do whatever it takes to get it. Right? Am I right? Lets examine our heart today and see what we really want.  One way to do this is to see where your time and money is going. That shows you pretty quickly what is important to you.

I want to go to the word today and show you some examples of people desperate and to see what they desired to receive..

Matthew 2:1-2

New King James Version (NKJV)

Wise Men from the East

1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, 2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

I don’t know how far these wise men traveled to come see the king and worship him, but evidently it was important enough for them to stop everything else they were doing and start on this journey to find the King and worship Him. They saw HIS STAR in the East and didn’t stop till they found him and worshiped him. Have you seen evidence of the presence of God and are you diligent to journey after it till you find it.

Luke 2:8-20

New King James Version (NKJV)

Glory in the Highest

8 Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And behold,[a] an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “ Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”[b]

15 So it was, when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, “Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.” 16 And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. 17 Now when they had seen Him, they made widely[c] known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. 18 And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19 But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.

Here again we see God supernaturally showing a group of people, this time shepherds something that would make them excited about going and doing something. An angel came and told them of the birth of Christ and they stopped what they were doing and made haste to find the baby Jesus. They left totally blessed glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard.

Matthew 4:18-22

New King James Version (NKJV)

Four Fishermen Called as Disciples
18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” 20 They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
21 Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

If you really think about this, it is truly amazing… Jesus was just starting His ministry, he was not known yet by these men, but something caused them to immediately leave everything and follow Him. It was the anointing on Christ life. It was His presence, the Holy Spirit in Him that drew them to Him. Then as the power and presence of Jesus walked through areas and people were healed and set free, the multitudes stopped what they were doing to go see this Jesus.

Matthew 4:23-25

New King James Version (NKJV)
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

All throughout Christ’s ministry we see multitudes of people follow after Him, crying out to Him for Healing and deliverance. They were hungry to be touched and changed by the Master. They were hungry to hear what he had to say, so hungry they would walk for days to be where the master was. Think about it, what were they doing before Christ came? Once he came into their lives everything was changed. Whatever they did before wasn’t important any more..they needed to be with Jesus. Another example of this is in Matthew 9:9 when Jesus passed by and saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office and he said to him, Follow me, so he arose and followed him!!  Are you willing to just get up and leave what you are doing to follow him?????

When you truly see who Jesus is and what he wants to do for you, there is NO OBSTACLE that can come between you and Him. We see this in the life of four men who knew the power of Jesus and wanted their friend who was paralyzed to be in the presence of Jesus and receive his healing. Lets look at Mark 2.

 Mark 2

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic

1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately[a] many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

Your actions will show your faith!! Will you do what you need to do to get into the presence of Jesus? In His presence is everything you need. Joy, Peace, Provision, Healing, Unconditional Love…. But most people aren’t willing to give up what they were doing and press in through the stuff of this world into the presence of Jesus. Now I want to show you the devotion and the dedication to Christ that was still present and even grew stronger after he was taken back into Heaven. Just because He is not here with us physically doesn’t mean he is not calling you to stop what you are doing and follow Him! Lets look at the last thing Christ said after his resurrection and right before he was taken back up to Heaven.

Acts 1

The Holy Spirit Promised
4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Jesus Ascends to Heaven
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Wait for the promise of the Father!  He didn’t say how long to wait he said wait!!! As they were obedient to follow his commands there life changed!! We see in Acts chapter 2 as the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost everything changed. Let’s look at their life after the day of Pentecost and see what the Children of God did with their time.

Acts 2:40-47

New King James Version (NKJV)

A Vital Church Grows
40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly[a] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church[b] daily those who were being saved.

The early church was hungry and desperate for the things of God and it showed by their actions. The continued steadfastly in the word of God , fellowship, breaking of bread and in prayers. They cared about all those in there fellowship and provided for those in need, but most of all they CONTINUED DAILY WITH ONE ACCORD!! They were in the temple daily in one accord, breaking bread from house to house, eating their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all people and the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

The reason the power and presence of God was so strong in this building all last week was we met together daily in one accord and we were hungry and desperate for God to come and touch us and change us. You will get whatever you are desperately devoted to go after. We are desperate for the presence of the Living God to fill this place and bring in the hurting people to meet a Loving God. Will it just happen, no we have to make the decision and go after it!! He who hungers and thirsts after righteousness will be filled. But you can’t be filled with God and this world at the same time! You have to make a choice, Its either ALL of God or ALL of this world. The time is coming where you cannot have your feet in both worlds, You have to make a choice for yourself!! Are you hungry enough for God to do whatever it takes to be in His presence?

If you want further information please comment on the post below and we will reply!

“Though the vision tarry wait for it”. April 24, 2010

Praise God!! Good Morning Everyone!

Our hearts are so filled with amazement,  joy and praise this morning! We are seeing God open doors that no man can shut! We are seeing God place us exactly where he wants us. Even in those first few days that God put Pastor Rick and I together we spoke about the vision God had for us and as he expanded the vision, we wrote down what he spoke to us and we prayed. He began opening one door at a time. He sent us here, and we were faithful. We moved us there, and we where faithful, He sent us somewhere else and we were faithful, and over and over the pattern began. He started linking us up with precious people for His plan and purpose!

Habakkuk 2

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Are you standing upon your watch and are you watching to see what he will say to you? It takes a diligent and willing heart to hear Gods plan for you, it won’t come by accident. You have to make the decision, that you want to set yourself apart from the things of this world and you WANT to hear what he will say to you.  The next part of this verse is ” and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” In other words, what will your reaction be if God wants you to make changes in your life, if he wants you to lay down a certain habit you have, or go to a certain church that is alot further away than where you are going now. Maybe he even wants you to change the people you are associating with now…. What will your reaction be when you do hear God’s voice?

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The Lord spoke to Habakukka to write the vision and make it plain. When God begins to speak to you about His Plan and Purpose for your life you need to take notice. You need to WRITE IN DOWN! I tell you that this is a very important step for a believer, who really wants to walk step by step in the plan and purposes of God. He usually will not give you the whole vision at once, He will give you the first step. When you do this and you speak the vision with others, they will come beside you and run with you.  We have seen this happen so much in our lives, Especially in the last few months.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I want to share with you what God has done in our lives and show you how important this verse is! This verse is true and we are a living testimony of it. I was single for 13 years and believed God with all my heart for my “Godly Husband”.  I spoke it continually and prayed without ceasing. He did not show up exactly when I had expected him or on those lonely nights when I desired a companion, BUT he came at the APPOINTED TIME. Then even as we got married and God gave us a vsion for our family, marriage and ministry things did not happen over night!! They had an APPOINTED TIME!! It is a little over a year and half ago that God began to put the vision for our ministry together. He gave us the first step and we did it, then the next and then the next and so on. This week we entered into the beginning of the fullness of what God has for us!!  I prayed about a month ago during worship and said, Lord I know you have called Rick and I into fulltime ministry, I release it to you right now to do whatever you want. I went into my job the next morning and my employer spoke to me about being laid off because the business had slowed down….. WOW!! That was the beginning of the NEW that God had for us at this time! Again it didn’t come when I thought it would but here it is.  We begin the new, this Sunday as we hold our FIRST service in our new church/thrift store building. God has given us a building to have a thrift store to not only help finance the ministry , but mainly as a tool to minister to people on a daily basis! We are not even opened yet and have had people come in and ask for prayer! It is AWESOME!!! Then on the other side of the building is the church!!  God has also brought help from the sanctuary!
4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

It is a walk of Faith to find out what God has for you to do and then start taking those steps one at a time! Believe me, as you do this he will be right there providing what you need.  We moved into the new building and didn’t know why the water wasn’t on, we weren’t aware that we needed to set up an account with a desposit. Well when we went down there and found out how much the deposit was, it was more than in the bank account, BUT GOD!!! He had it covered and supplied the need!

 Jeremiah 29:11:
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

I want to encourage you today that God has a plan for you, and it is a GOOD plan. It is a plan for your welfare, your peace. He has a final outcome in mind. You just need to want it and seek after it with all your heart! And once you start and you receive the vision from the Lord, write it down, hold fast to it and NEVER let go of it, because though the vision tarry wait for it, for it will surely come!

Below are a couple of pictures of the church and the thrift store in progress. We have Church service on Sundays at 2 pm with free dinner served afterwards, Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 we serve free hot meals to anyone who comes and then at 6pm we have a Recovery in ChristClass for those who are Recovering from any addictions and seeking biblical study on that subject. Then on Thursday evening we have our mid-week service at 7 pm. We also are connected with the ministry that feeds the hungry at the park also on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Zephyrhills. And the thrift store is in progress and should be up and running in a short time.

We would love you to come visit at anytime.

God Bless You,

Pastor Carol

Do not let your hearts be troubled! April 21, 2010

Good Morning my Friends,

In troubled times it can be easy for us to LET our hearts be troubled, but this is not what God has for his children. He has for you to be Strong in Him and in the Power of His Might!! I pray you will be blessed today as you read the scriptures and really meditate on the word of God for your life!!!

John 14 1DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.

2In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

3And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

4And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.

5Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?

6Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Here the Lord is telling us not to be troubled, distressed or agiated about Eternal Life. He tells us as long as we know him, Jesus personally, He is the Way the Truth and the Life. He has gone before us to prepare a place for us. We can rest in the knowledge of what He has done for us!

11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father’s name convince you.]

12I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

The reason that we can live life in PEACE and without our hearts troubled and worried is because of what Jesus did for us. When he died for us and was ressurection and went to Heaven where he is still interceding on your behalf, He also gave us promises to stand with. He said if we STEADFASTLY BELIEVE we will do the works that he did while he was here and greater works. Just as there were people searching for freedom from bondage and healing and peace in Jesus’ day, there are still people searching for these today and He’s not here in person, but He is here in you and can work through you if you STEADFASTLY BELIEVE!!

13And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.

14[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

Wow, in the above verses ia a promise that you can stand on, if you are a steadfast believer.  Jesus said he will do whatever we ask in in name, so that the Father may be glorified. He said this twice, so that we would really receive it. You have to remember here, that Jesus is talking to steadfast believers, those that Love him and have his heart. God’s desire is for us to walk in the authority and dominion that he has given us. This is over our own lives and stading in the gap for others. Christians should not live lives filled with worry and anxiety…..

15If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

As you examine your life this morning, you are able to gauge your love walk with Jesus. How are you doing on keeping the word of God. Are you walking in love with others, are you walking in forgiveness…. your reaction to the word of God, shows HIM your heart and your love towards HIM.

16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

Christ did not leave us alone. He asked His Father to send us the Holy Spirit to the believers. The Holy Spirit dwells in us and is our Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. With the Holy Spirit, that raised Christ from the dead living in us, we have no need to ever walk in fear or anxiety in any situation, Just call on Jesus, he is already living in you in the Holy Spirit and willing to do what you ask to Glorify His Father.

27Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

I love the above verse and how he said it. Christ has given us (BELIEVERS) His Peace. Not worldy peace, but his peace that passes all understanding….. He gave it to us, so it is ours and will always be ours, no one can take it away………….. BUT we don’t always walk in it….why not, because we allow ourselves to be troubled, fearful or worried. It is OUR CHOICE!!! God has not given us a Spirit of Fear, but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind. He has given us all we need to walk in peace in every situation of life. We need to be a Steadfast Believer, Keep His commandments, Ask and Believe and watch the Glory of God fill the earth once again as it did when Jesus walked on the earth!

Be Strong in the Lord TODAY and in the Power of His Might!!

God Bless you,

Pastor Carol
