Hows Your Balance? September 18, 2011

Good Morning All,

Praise God , I am up early in Gods word and it is so good to start the day as we should. Sometimes our lives can get so unbalanced and nothing seems to work right. Even in our bodies, there are times we we are unbalanced and its not a good feeling and you may have to take medicine or vitamins to get regulated or balanced. Well in our lives with God it is very importance that we live a balanced life. Let look at a scripture and see why.

1 Peter 5:8

Amplified Bible (AMP)

8Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [[a]in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.

We need to be well balanced so that we are not opening a door for Satan to come in and bring destruction on us. We are the ones that have the authority over him and have the responsibility of keep the doors closed. Pastor Rick and I are teaching a course right now on the Believers Authority, it is so important in these last days for the children of God to know who they are and walk in the authority and dominion God has given us. You can catch us live Mon thru Friday at at 7pm Eastern Time and Sundays at 2pm.

Balance is something you have to work on everyday, because there are constantly things coming at us to KNOCK US OFF BALANCE

Isaiah 33:5-6

King James Version (KJV)

5The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

6And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Once of the main ways you can keep you balance is to stay STABLE!! Wisdom and knowledge that come from the word of God shall be the STABILITY of your times!!!!! When you have the wisdom and knowledge of the word of God you can stay balanced and Stable and then you are able to STAND FIRM when an attack comes you way!

Colossians 3:15

Amplified Bible (AMP)

15And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

One of the ways you can tell if you are in BALANCE is by checking your Peace gauge. If you are out of Peace, something is out of balance.

Psalm 147:14

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 He makes peace in your borders,
And fills you with the finest wheat.
When you are walking according to the WORD and Gods plan for your life you with have that Peace from the Holy Spirit within, no matter what circumstances you may be going through. Its an internal Peace.
Psalm 29:11

New King James Version (NKJV)

 11 The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.God desires and has equipped His people to walk in Strength and Peace. If it is God’s desire for us to walk in Perfect Peace why aren’t we, what are some of the things that may be out of Balanced in our lives.

#1 Your thought life: Where is your thought life??

Isaiah 26:3

New King James Version (NKJV)

3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
      Because he trusts in You.

Here it tells us that we can be in that PERFECT PEACE (no matter what situation you’re in) IF Your mind (thoughts) are stayed on Him!!

Think of a couple of examples of People in the bible in peace when in the natural it was a bad situation….Daniel in the lions den, the Hebrew children in the Fiery Furnace and Stephen while he is being STONED TO DEATH!!

This is just one of the first teachings on BALANCE, but I want you to know something today, that NO MATTER what storm or trial you are going through today, GOD WILL BALANCE IT OUT WITH HIS PEACE, IF YOU BALANCE OUT YOUR THOUGHTS AND STAY YOUR THOUGHTS AND TRUST ON HIM!!

God Bless You my Friend

Jesus wants to Cleanse Your Temple! August 31, 2010

Good Morning,

The last few days I have been preparing for the Ladies Bible this morning, and as of last night I still saw no real direction of where the Lord wanted me to go. I could have just picked a portion of scripture and taught on it, but I really wanted what the Lord had for today. Well, I woke up this morning around 4 am and went into the bathroom, before I knew it I was busy scrubbing the sink, countertop and even toilet…….. then it continued I walked out into my kitchen that is in the process of being renivated and I started seeing certain things and cleaning them. Believe me, my bathroom and my kitchen were the same as they had been all week long, why today was there such an urgency to clean them? Why did they finally look filthy to me? Well God was giving me the bible lesson.

In the natural people look at cleaning in different ways. I have friends that keep there house spotless, I have friends that don’t, I have family that do and family that don’t…. Why is that? Why do some people have to have there environment orderly and clean and others it doesn’t seem to matter to them. Believe me, I am even stepping on my own toes this morning, as I am far from being the cleanest and neatest homemaker. I guess that is why God could use this example for me this morning. The more I cleaned, the more I saw more filth. I cleaned the sink and then saw how filthy the counter looked, so I cleaned the counter and saw how filthy the cabinets looked, cleaned the cabinets and saw how filthy the floor looked………………..

Well now lets take it over to the spiritual realm.

Eph. 5:26-27 says that Christ loves the church (as His bride) and gave Himself for her, “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present to Himself a glorious church (bride), not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she (His bride) should be holy and without blemish.” Wow! The church’s (bride’s) fiancé, the Lover of her soul, the King of all Kings (Jesus), desires so much goodness for His Bride that He will, like King Ahasuerus for Esther, provide the means of preparation and beautification necessary for her to be one with Him and to reign with Him.
He is calling us to “the cleansing”, the “washing of water by the word“. There are many areas of our lives that He desires to be cleansed and sanctified, and as we allow him to start on one area of our lives, we will begin to see more quickly the other areas that need to be cleansed.

The word is our cleanser in the spiritual realm. It will allow you to clean the grime out of your life and it will show you where there is dirt still hiding. We must be women (or men) of the word. If I had tried to clean my cabinets this morning with palin water, they would still be dirty, but I used the cleaner I needed to. We need to use the word of God to purify us and to allow it to bring change!

Jesus Cleanses the Temple

12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God[f] and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’[g] but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’

When Jesus saw something filthy, it bothered him and He did something about it. His Fathers House meant something to Him and he cared about the state of it. What about us? Does he care about the state of your life. absolutely and it is time for us to overturn some things and throw out some things that we have allowed to creep into our life. Let the word of God and the love of God come in and cleanse your temple. This is a daily thing. I was speaking to my husband this morning. How I can scrub the kitchen today, but that doesn’t mean it will never have to be done again, it is a daily cleansing process.

Psalm 32:5
I acknowledged my sin to You,And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin.  Selah
The first thing we have to do is acknowledge our sin! If I didn’t acknowledge that the kitchen was dirty, I wouldn’t have seen a need to clean it. We need to know the word and apply the word to our lives and let the Light shine into thoses areas in our life that need to be cleaned out, those areas that we have allowed sin to remain in our lives.

Let look how David approach this subject with the Lord in Psalms 51

Psalm 51

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.

1 Have mercy upon me, O God,
         According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
         Blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,[a]
         And blameless when You judge.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
         The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
15 O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
 16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
David was a man after God’s own heart, that is our desire today…….Desire Gods heart above all else!!

God Bless You
