Daily Revelation

Good Morning my Friends,

This has been quite a week for us, battles coming at every side and weariness tries to creep in, but GOD!  Satan wants us weary so we will, just throw up our hands and give up, but not so with our God. Lets look at what he say about weariness.

Prov 3:11 My son despise not the chastening of the Lord, neither be weary of his correction

No matter what trial or test we are going through we must be willing to learn from it. Every day and every situation we go through we must have a heart to change and conform to Gods way of doing things. We are all a work in process and must continually have the desire to become more Christ -Like in our thoughts and actions.

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up on wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Strength is the opposite of weariness, so we have a choice here…………… In this verse He gives up the secret of standing against weariness and renewing our strength! The secret is waiting upon the Lord. Looking to Him with expectation of His strength and power in your situation.

Galations 6:7-9

Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap coruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not

We have to keep our eyes on God when we are going through different situations in life. We need to be ever aware of what we are sowing in these times. Are you sowing things of the flesh. Are you allowing your tongue to speak death or sin over situations or are you sowing the WORD over those situations. God will not be mocked. His word says that all things are possible to them that believe, don’t let the weariness of a situation kill your faith!! Only Believe!!

God bless you my friends.

Our Sunday Service is at 2 pm, we would love to see you there to worship with us!

In His Love,

Pastor Carol

LORD, I NEED HELP ! January 29, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 8:05 am

Good Morning Everyone!

Have you ever gone through the times, when you know that unless the Lord intervenes, its over?

Special Keyboard - Help

Today we are going to look at what he says to do in times of trouble.

Ps 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

When we are going the a time of trouble we need to hang onto this verse with all that is within us. We need to know that we are not going through this trouble alone, but he is there continually to be our refuge and our strength and our help!! I think of Daniel in the lions den and the 3 hebrew boys thrown into the fire. THEY WERE NOT ALONE!!

PS 50:15

And call on me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you and you shall honor and glorify me

When we are going through those circumstances we don’t understand we need to call upon God!! We need to believe in his power to deliver!!!!

Father God, we come to you this morning and we call out to you, we need you, we need your help, we need your wisdom, we need your strength. We bring to you all these circumstances that we are going through that are trying to take us out. As you closed the lions mouth and you saved the men in the fiery flames, we know you will come and deliver us! We thank you in advance for deliverance!! We love you and will give you all of the glory and honor.

God bless you,

Pastor Carol

Good Morning my Dear Friends!

I am so thankful for another day to come into the presence of God! Another day to cast all my cares upon Him, because I KNOW he cares for me!! I am so thankful for His word that will not return void but will accomplish that whereto it is sent. I am thankful for answered prayer!! Even this morning I received an e-mail about a situation we had believed God to intervene on and HE DID!! I am so thankful for God’s provision in every area of my life, even when circumstances may not reflect it, I KNOW who my provider is!!! I am so thankful this morning for my family! Sometimes you can take your family members for granted, don’t do that today, let them know how much you love them and are thankful for them!!

Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise, be thankful unto him, and bless his name

I want to encourage you to do something today. You may be like me, where there are a few things that you are trusting God for that you haven’t seen yet and it may even seem like you really need him to move on those things, right now Lord, but what I feel we all need to do is…. Put away the list of this you are waiting God to do and start a new list today of all those things He has already done and thank him for them. And really you will see he has already healed you, even though you might not feel it, HE HAS. He has already provided for you, even though you may not see it, HE HAS.  Lets have that Thankful heart today and watch the mainfistations of those things come flooding in and you thank him and praise him before you see it in the natural!!!

God Bless you today

Victor or Victim? January 26, 2009

Good Morning All,

Yesterday I spent the early morning preparing a message for our church service, so I wasn’t able to get onto the blog. I do want to share with you the sermon I preached. I hope it will be encouraging to you as it was to me!

I woke up early Sunday morning with part of a song going over and over in my head. These are the words:

You’ve been made more than conquerors, overcomers in this life, you’ve been made victorious through the blood of Jesus Christ.

I have a question for you this morning, Are you living as a victim of circumstance or as a victor over circumstance?

Lets look at a few scriptures about it.

Romans 8 :35- 38

vs 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ, shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?

All of these items here in this verse come upon us constantly for one purpose, to DEFEAT us and take us out! Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. He wants to kill & steal your very life, the purpose and plan that God has for your life.

Vs 36 As it for thy sake we are killed all the day long, we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

We have to remember Christ the lamb of God was slain to take our place.

Vs 37 Ney,(NO) in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Christ came in love and won the victory for us. We are victorious over all tribulation, distress,  persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or sword through HIM!!!

Rev 12:11 And they overcame by the blood of the Lamb

Yes I know there is more to that verse, but lets look at this part first. If you have accepted Christ as your savior, you are cleansed by his blood and made an OVERCOMER by that blood. That blood is more powerful that anything satan could throw your way. That blood ALREADY DEFEATED HIM!!   We just need to know how to apply it to our lives and walk in the victory that Christ already purchased for us to walk in.

Wow, do you see this…The blood of the Lamb is His part, the word of their testimony is our part!!

How do we keep our testimony lined up to be an overcomer, we must first be FULLY PERSUADED!!

Back to Romans 35

Vs 38 For I am fully persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, or any creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!!

Fully persuaded….you need to KNOW that you KNOW that you are more than a conqueror, you are victorious already, no matter what circumstances look like, because of what Christ did!! And when we know who we are in Christ our testimony will line up with the word of God in us and we will overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony!!

God Bless you,

Pastor Carol

Love you

Good Morning All,

Sorry I missed you yesterday, but I am back with a fresh word and a new journey!! As we have learned in the last couple of weeks as we studied about the words of our mouth, we discovered that our words flow from the abundance of our heart. So we are going to start a new journey on our heart!!

Let start in Deut 6:5

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might

This scriptures tells us, God doesn’t want a part of your heart, HE WANTS IT ALL!!

People can tell when your heart is really into something you are doing, the same is with the Lord, he knows if your heart is really in your relationship with him!

Are we loving Jesus with ALL our heart today??

1 Samuel 16:7b

…For the Lord sees not as man sees’ for man looks on outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

This verse reminds us that men see our outward appearance, our actions and our words, though many of these show our heart, people are able to put on an appearance when they want to.. In other words appear to be something they really are not…., BUT with God he sees out heart and the motives of our heart and we cannot put on an appearance for him, bcause he can see right through it to our heart!!!

Why is the condition of our heart so important????

Psalms 24:3-5 explains one of the reasons:

vs 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? Vs 4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Vs 5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

The purity of our heart is important!! To enter into His presence and to receive all He has for us it requires clean hands and a pure heart! Do we all have times we fall short of this, YES, but we know that when our hands get dirty or something impure sneaks into our heart, all we have to do is come to the Lord and confess our sins to him and he is faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness!!

God wants your WHOLE HEART today!! If you have allowed other things to creep in and take over, get with him today and make it right!!

We love you!!

Words come from the Heart! January 22, 2009

Hi there my friends,

I need to share with you something today.

As a minister of the gospel we begin to teach or preach on a subject and then we are tested on what we are teaching………..There is an accountability  that comes from being in the ministry. I just wanted to share with you that I haven’t arrived at all of this either, that it is a daily, minute by minute choice of how we use our words. Sometimes I miss the mark, but you get up and start again!!!

We are going to start our in Matthew 12:34-37 amp

34 You offspring of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks.

35 The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things.

This is why it is crucial what we are alowing to come into out lives, homes and environment, because as it enters your heart it will entually finds its way out again through your mouth. What are you allowing your eyes to see, wahst are you allowing your ears to hear?? Guard those things, because  they will effect what comes out of your mouth.

36 But I tell you, on the day of judgement men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.

37 For by your words you will be justified and aquitted and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced.

Did you realize that?? You are accountable for every word that comes out of your mouth , and by your words you will be justified or condemned…… Words don’t just disappear after they are spoken, they have long lasting effects. They after the people that the words are spoken over, but they will also effect you on the day of judgement!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the opportunity this week to contine to check my heart , because some of the things coming out of my mouth were questionable. We need to be continually open for the Lord to show us areas of our hearts that may need adjusting, it may not feel good at the time but it is neccessary!!

Take some time with the Lord like David and ask him to search your heart and see if there be any wicked way in you that needs correcting, it is worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

Take Care and May God bless you today!

Pastor Carol

Words can cause Divisions January 21, 2009

Good Morning Everyone!!

God is so good , he is so faithful in all circumstances!!

We all know the verse that says , Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. I believe this to be true, but we also need to look at ourselves and see if we are allowing the words of our mouth to kill, steal or destroy anything. People are very quick to blame everything on satan and not take responsibility for their own actions.

I believe with my whole heart that CLOSE FRIENDS , are a special gift from God. These are divinely placed friendships that God ordained for special seasons in our lives.  Pastor Rick has been meditating on partnership, I believe God ordains these friendships for partnership in prayer, encouragement, finances and more….

Proverbs 16:28

A perverse man sows strife & a whisperer separates close friends.

We need to be very cautious about what comes out of our mouths about other people, that we are not sowing strife or whispering about any situation, the effects of this could be devasting in relationships. We also need to keep a guard up against people speaking anything over us & our relationships that would cause strife or separation.

Proverbs 17:9

He who covers and forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats or harps on a matter separates close friends.

I tell you this morning, that I know how much hurt comes when something comes and separates close friends. It hurts and leaves a void in your life, because you know this relationship was ordained by God and separated by man or circumstances that should not have been so!! We need to value these close friendships and not let offenses or our mouths or someones else’s mouth divide us.

The last scripture we are going to look at is Proverbs 20:19

He who goes about as a talebearer reveals secrets, therefore associate not with him who talks to freely.

#1 make sure you are not this type of person that is sharing information that is not to be shared with anyone, not even under the guise of we need to pray for so and so because they did this…….

#2 This scripture says to separate yourself from this kind of person who is not watching the words they are speaking as they are bringing destrcution with their words and it can effect you and your friendships and every area of your life. Guard yourself against ill spoken words.

God Bless you this morning, Feel free to comment or e-mail me with any prayer requests!

In His Love,

Pastor Carol
