Possibilities! February 27, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 6:44 am

Good Morning All,

Just a quick teaching today. What are you looking at in your life today, where is your focus? Are you looking at the possibilities or at the things that look impossible. Let see what Jesus said about the Impossible!!

Matthew 19:26 (Whole Chapter)
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible

When we look at situations in the natural they may look totally impossible, but we have to believe in our heart that no matter what our natural mind tells us, there is NOTHING IMPOSSBILE TO GOD. And if that wasn’t enough, the scripture goes on to tell us even something more….

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

This is a scripture you need to hide in your heart, you need to speak it out continually over circumstances, you need to hang onto it and believe it!!! ALL THINGS means everything!!!

Today lets look at the possibilities, not the impossibilities… My husband and I have been talking about the imagination and allowing the vision of God to grow in us!! We need to believe that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Dream Big, God is a BIG GOD, with BIG plans and Purposes!!!

Praise God today for all he is doing and all he will do, ALL things are possible to Him and to us when we believe in Him!!

God Bless you my friends!

Have a wonderful day!

Love continues… February 26, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 6:30 am

Good Morning Everyone,

We had a wonderful day yesterday in St Pete, where are church is located. We are lookinf forward to a wonderful service and time of special fellowship on Sunday as we are getting to know those who labor among us!

I want to contine with the teaching I started yesterday in the commandment of LOVE!!  We can get so overwhelmed with the do’s and the don’ts, but if you are truly walking in Love you will be fullfilling all of the other commandments by filling the two greatest commandments Jesus gave us in the new covenant that we have with him, which I listed the exact scripture on yesterdays blog.

Love is what began our relationship with Christ.

John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosover believes on him should not persish, but should have eternal life.

Love was the movtivation behind God sending his Son to die for us. He loved us that much and still does. He loved us unconditionally and expects us to walk in the same love to another.

In Matthew let’s see what Jesus says about who we are to love…

  1. Matthew 5:43 (Whole Chapter)
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
  2. Matthew 5:44 (Whole Chapter)
    But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
  3. Matthew 5:46 (Whole Chapter)
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

When we are faced in a situation good or bad a reaction, or action always follows….  God had a situation arise, His creation chose to fall into sin, he could of left us there, but BECAUSE OF LOVE, he sent His son Jesus to die for our sins.

Today when we face sitations we need to choose the way of LOVE!! React in Love, In His Love that is in you. It is the goodness of God that draws men to repentance, It is His Love!!!
This is not a suggestion from the Lord, it is what he commanded us to do. He wants us to be just like him, to love as He loves!!
  1. John 15:12 (Whole Chapter)
This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.
  2. John 15:13 (Whole Chapter)
No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.
  3. John 15:17 (Whole Chapter)
This is what I command you: that you love one another.

There is so much more on love, love covers a multitude of sins….. and much more!!

We will talk again tommorrow, Have a wonderful day!

God Bless you,

Walk in Love !

Commandment to Love February 25, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 12:16 pm

Good Morning Everyone!!

When you hear the word commandments what do you think of?? Most people go directly to the thought of the 10 commandments of the old testament. These 10 commandments have been an issue of debate for years as the have been fought over whether or not to have them posted in certain places.

Let look what Jesus said about the commandments in the new testament, the NEW covenant that you and I live under.

Mark 12: 28And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Love is the key to Christian living!!!! It is the MAIN KEY.!!

There is so much in the word about Love and I know I will just begin to scratch the surface this morning, but I want you to start thinking about your actions and see if they are LOVE MOTIVATED ?

John 13:34 (Whole Chapter)
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

We are on our way to St Pete this morning, so I will finish this later, Have a wonderful day with Jesus, He LOVES you!!

Are you holding something you shouldn’t be? February 24, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 11:47 am

Good Morning Everyone,

I started this morning a continuation on unity and harmonywhich I taught on the other day, but it wasn’t what I was to do, so there was no flow to it and I deleted several times before I realized there was another way God wanted me to go this morning.

Hebrews 12:1

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed bout with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Many of us hold tight onto things that we should not be holding. This verse says to LAY ASIDE every WEIGHT and the sin that easily besets us (comes to sit upon us 🙂 ). That weight could be several things in your life, this morning we are going to talk about the weight of cares! In the natural when we have extra weight on us, it slows us down, you are not able to function as freely or easily without the extra weight. The same thing goes in the spiritual realm concerning cares!!

Let look at Mark 4:19

And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word and it becomes unfruitful.

If we allow cares in our life, it will come in and choke out the word of God and the Word will not be able to accomplish what it is sent to accomplish in your life, because it is choked out and becomes unfruitful!! It is our responsibility to handle the cares and anxiety of this world in the way Christ has told us to.

1 Peter 5: 6 & 7

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him , for he cares for you.

We are not meant to hold onto the cares of this world we are meant to cast them upon Jesus and let him take care of them.

Another word for cares could be burdens… Let see what the word says about burdens….

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee, he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

We have a decision this morning, we can hold on to those cares and burdens and let them weigh us down and choke out the word of God and become unfruitful for the kingdom of God or we can obey the word of God and CAST OFF THOSE CARES TO THE ONLY ONE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF THEM FOR US.

We have to make a decision every day, really every minute of each day that as a care, burden or anxiety comes our way to immediately cast it to the Lord, Run to him with it, he is waiting for you!!

Satan wants to keep us focused on the care and weighed down so much that we are not accomplishing anything for the kingdom of God and very uncomfortable, but God has already made the provision for us to walk in freedom from all cares and be able to Run freely into the plan and purpose of God!

I could go on and on, but I will stop for now…………….

Father, I pray for each and every person reading this blog that even right now they will take every care and burden, visualize it in their hand and then CAST it , throw it onto you!! Thank you Lord that as they do this in faith, that you step in and take care of those situations that we cannot handle without you. Your word say you will keep us in perfect peace whose hearts and minds are stayed on you. We turn our eyes upon you today, I thank you for the peace that floods over us right now!

I praise you Lord, In Jesus Name Amen

God Bless you

Love Pastor Carol

Can’t Look Back when you are going forward February 22, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 8:16 am

Hi Everyone!!

God is so good and His mercies are truly new EVERY morning!!

I know in my heart 2009 is a new beginning for the body of Christ, it is a time to run ahead and stop looking back! We all have pasts, some good things and some not so good, but I tell you the truth that even those hard times have made you who you are today!! Take the GOOD of what has happened in your life and Forget the past and Go on to what God has for you.

Looking back can prevent you from going forward,

is it worth it?

Lets look at some scripture that verifies that!!

Lets start with the children of Israel in Exodus 14:10-15

Passage Exodus 14:10-15:

10And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

11And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

12Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

The children of Israel were afraid of the unknown, they did not see God’s plan and purpose, they did not have the VISION of what God had for them so they wanted to retreat back to what they knew, even if that meant being servants to the Eygptians…

Sometimes we want to run back to the past when we are uncomfortable with change and can’t see the full promise of the future.

13And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Moses encouraged the children of Israel not to fear, but to see with the eyes of God what he had in store for them.

14The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Moses encouraged them that the Lord was on their side and the battle was his!!

15And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

The Lord had Moses encourage the children of Israel to walk into the future in faith. It was fear and the lack of vision that had them looking back instead of forward. God said speak to them, that they go forward!! God wants us to be continually walking forward, not hung up in the past.

We see a little bit later in the journey that the children of Israel are still battling fear and lack of vision, as they are thirsty and see no natural provision in front of them
Passage Exodus 17:1-3:

 Exodus 17

1And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.

2Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?

3And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

Moses cried to God believing and the supernatural provision came.

4And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

5And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.

6Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

We need to believe God for the supernatural when walking into the vision He has for us. When we lack the faith to believe that His plans for us is for the good and to give us hope in the future, that is when we can be drawn back to the familiar to the things of the past.

Heres a couple others examples of looking back!

Genesis 19:26
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

 Jeremiah 46:5 (Whole Chapter)
Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 42:9 (Whole Chapter)
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

This is such an awesome promise from our Father. He is saying that he is doing new things and that HE WILL TELL YOU OF THEM!!!

  1. Isaiah 43:18 (Whole Chapter)
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Lets end this lesson with the words straight form Jesus’ mouth! He tells it like it is!!

  1. Luke 9:62 (Whole Chapter)
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
We want to not only to be fit for the kingdom of God, but also used in a mighty way in the kingdom. I preached last week about taking an old broken shell and taking all the past hurts and offenses, visualizing them on this old, ugly , broken shell and then throwing it into the sea of forgetfullness!!  Satan will try to bring it up again in order to stir up feelings of offense or unforgiveness, DON’T LET HIM DO THAT!!  What is done, is done, its a new day and God has a plan and purpose for TODAY!!!

Paul sums in at all for us in Phil 3:13

13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I know its not always easy to not look back, but it is crucial for your forward advance!

God bless you and keep you!

Unity & Harmony February 17, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 8:20 am

Good Morning Dear Friends, Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

I am focused this morning on our call to Unity and Harmony!!!

Here’s a few questions to get your mind thinking and then lets search the WORD together and find the answers.

Where should there be unity & harmony???? What is your part in bringing it to every situation in your life. How important is it to God? And what is the opposite of Unity and Harmony, who brings that and why?? What kind of things happen to attack unity and harmony? Do they happen in marriages, in churches, in families, in job environments, in relationships?

The bible tells us that where envy and strife is present there is every form of evil, and believe me that is Satans desire for you and your family to be in that constant place of evil, BUT God has other desires, plans and purposes for you. But it is like everything else in the word, we have a CHOICE!!

Psalms 133

Behold, How good and how pleasant it is for brethen to dwell together in unity. It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard even Aaron’s beard, that went down to the skirts of his garments. As the dew of Hermon and as the dew that decended upon the mountains of Zion, for there (in unity) the Lord commanded the blessing.

We have a choice to live where there is every form of evil or live where God commands the blessing.

People talk alot about the attacks of the devil coming against them, but we need to be following Gods word to live in His blessing and in His Peace. Are we doing what it takes to get what the Lord has promised we could have?

Romans 14:18 He who serves Christ in this way is acceptable and pleasing to God and is approved by men. 19 So let us then definitely aim for and eagerly pursue what makes for harmony and for mutual upbuilding (edification and development) of one another.

I encourage you in your time to read all of Romans 14 to give you a little background of this verse. As verse 19 says we need to AIM AND EAGERLY PURSUE those things that makes for harmony (peace, unity) and for mutual upbuilding!!  Many people have the attitude, my way is best, its my way or the highway…….. We need to be constantly looking for the place of harmony, unity……….Find it at ALL COSTS!!!!  Be conscience of the people around you and their thoughts, feelings and ideas, be there to encourage and build them up!! Is this always easy, NO, but the rewards are great!!

Romans 15:5 Now may the God who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such MUTUAL HARMONY AND SUCH FULL SYMPATHY with one another in accord with Christ Jesus, THAT together you may unanimously with united hearts and one voice praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus.

The awesome blessing in this verse is that God has given us the power to live this way and he encourages us to make the right choices in our lives.

I need to run to get ready for work, but there is still much to be said on this subject. I will continue in the mornning  as the Lord leads.  I love you all and my desire is that we all word in the place of the commanded blessing. Eager pursue peace today!

God Bless you

Pastor Carol

Daily Declarations February 15, 2009

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 12:28 pm

Good Morning my friends

I know it has been several days since I have posted a blog, I have truly missed it.  It is amazing how things can just come in and take over your time if you allow it. This is definitely something I have to continually work on. As we live in such a busy society and there is constantly something or someone pulling at our time, we need to continually check our priorities and make sure we are putting first things first!!!!!!!!!!

Pastor Rick and I found these daily Declarations on the internet. I have learned for many years how important it is for us to decree a thing and it will be established and The Lord will shine his light on it. You can use these declarations or go to the word yourself and find those scriptures that promise you what you need at this time in your life, whether it be healing, finances, peace, unity……………

  • All of my children are blessed and well favored of God. They are skillful and wise, and they stand before kings (Daniel 1:4-5, 9).

  • Like Jesus, my children increase in wisdom, stature and favor with God and men (Luke 2:52; 1 Samuel 2:26; 16:22).

  • In The Name of Jesus my children are blessed, healthy and whole, lacking no good thing.

  • The Lord has granted me long life and favor, and has preserved my spirit from destruction (Job 10:12).

  • God is pleased with me and His favor endures for a lifetime (Psalm 30:5, AMP).

  • I declare that no matter what happens around me, I have a covenant of peace with God and His love, kindness and favor will never depart from me (Isaiah 54:10, 14-17; 1 Samuel 25:6).

  • God surrounds and protects me with favor like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

  • Fear cannot rule in my life because I have favor with God (Luke 1:30).

  • My enemies cannot triumph over me because the Lord has favored me (Psalm 41:11).

  • The Lord helps me to guard the door of my mouth and trains me not to speak against His favor at work in my life (Psalm 141:3, AMP).

  • I will not allow any corrupt communication to proceed out of my mouth. Instead, I will speak only that which is good, full of grace and edifying to others (Ephesians 4:29).

  • As the righteousness of God, I declare that I am favorable in God’s sight (Job 33:26, AMP; Psalm 5:12; Proverbs 14:9).

  • Like Joseph, I prosper wherever I go and in every situation I am in because the Lord is always with me. I, too, experience preferential treatment (Genesis 39:1-6, 21).

  • I am blessed and highly favored (Luke 1:28).

  • I associate with those who are blessed and highly favored so that I may increase in every area of my life (Genesis 30:27).

  • I operate in integrity; as a result, I obtain favor from God (Proverbs 11:27; 12:2).

  • I actively seek and live by God’s wisdom; therefore, I am highly favored and esteemed in the sight of God and men (Proverbs 3:1-4; 8:33-35).

  • I declare that God’s favor promotes and causes me to increase daily (Esther 2:17; Psalm 75:6-7).

  • The Lord takes pleasure in my total life prosperity (Psalm 35:27).

  • Because I am God’s “favorite,” I prosper in every area of my life-spiritually, physically, financially, socially and mentally (3 John 2).

  • Because the favor of God shields me, no sickness or disease has a right to live in my body (Deuteronomy 7:15; Psalm 5:12).

  • Wealth and riches are in my house because I am empowered with His anointing and favor to draw wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalm 112:3).
  • The Lord has granted me long life and has preserved me from destruction (Job 10:12).

  • I declare that no matter what happens around me, I have a covenant of peace, or wholeness, with God. His love, kindness and protection will never depart from me (Isaiah 54:10, 14-17; 1 Samuel 25:6).

  • No weapon formed against me prospers, and every tongue that rises up in judgment against me shall be proven wrong (Isaiah 54:17, AMP).
In the name of Jesus, I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

  • The Lord is my Refuge and Fortress. He delivers me from the enemy; therefore, I do not fear the terror in the night or the destruction that takes place at noonday (Psalm 91:2-6).

  • When I call on the Lord, He immediately answers me. He is with me in trouble; He always delivers me (Psalm 91:15-16).

  • Because the Lord has given His angels charge over me, my life is redeemed from destruction. No evil comes near me, and neither does any plague come near my home (Psalm 91:10-11).

  • Although hard times may come, they pass me by because I am established in righteousness (Isaiah 54:14-15).

  • I declare that I fear no evil, because the Holy Spirit comforts me (Psalm 23). He lives inside of me. Greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Be diligent to speak the word over your life and your family and see God’s promises start to manifest in your life! This is something we never stop doing, we have to all continue to do it God’s way!!

    Love you,

    Pastor Carol
