Daily Revelation

“Though the vision tarry wait for it”. April 24, 2010

Praise God!! Good Morning Everyone!

Our hearts are so filled with amazement,  joy and praise this morning! We are seeing God open doors that no man can shut! We are seeing God place us exactly where he wants us. Even in those first few days that God put Pastor Rick and I together we spoke about the vision God had for us and as he expanded the vision, we wrote down what he spoke to us and we prayed. He began opening one door at a time. He sent us here, and we were faithful. We moved us there, and we where faithful, He sent us somewhere else and we were faithful, and over and over the pattern began. He started linking us up with precious people for His plan and purpose!

Habakkuk 2

1I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

Are you standing upon your watch and are you watching to see what he will say to you? It takes a diligent and willing heart to hear Gods plan for you, it won’t come by accident. You have to make the decision, that you want to set yourself apart from the things of this world and you WANT to hear what he will say to you.  The next part of this verse is ” and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” In other words, what will your reaction be if God wants you to make changes in your life, if he wants you to lay down a certain habit you have, or go to a certain church that is alot further away than where you are going now. Maybe he even wants you to change the people you are associating with now…. What will your reaction be when you do hear God’s voice?

2And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

The Lord spoke to Habakukka to write the vision and make it plain. When God begins to speak to you about His Plan and Purpose for your life you need to take notice. You need to WRITE IN DOWN! I tell you that this is a very important step for a believer, who really wants to walk step by step in the plan and purposes of God. He usually will not give you the whole vision at once, He will give you the first step. When you do this and you speak the vision with others, they will come beside you and run with you.  We have seen this happen so much in our lives, Especially in the last few months.

3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

I want to share with you what God has done in our lives and show you how important this verse is! This verse is true and we are a living testimony of it. I was single for 13 years and believed God with all my heart for my “Godly Husband”.  I spoke it continually and prayed without ceasing. He did not show up exactly when I had expected him or on those lonely nights when I desired a companion, BUT he came at the APPOINTED TIME. Then even as we got married and God gave us a vsion for our family, marriage and ministry things did not happen over night!! They had an APPOINTED TIME!! It is a little over a year and half ago that God began to put the vision for our ministry together. He gave us the first step and we did it, then the next and then the next and so on. This week we entered into the beginning of the fullness of what God has for us!!  I prayed about a month ago during worship and said, Lord I know you have called Rick and I into fulltime ministry, I release it to you right now to do whatever you want. I went into my job the next morning and my employer spoke to me about being laid off because the business had slowed down….. WOW!! That was the beginning of the NEW that God had for us at this time! Again it didn’t come when I thought it would but here it is.  We begin the new, this Sunday as we hold our FIRST service in our new church/thrift store building. God has given us a building to have a thrift store to not only help finance the ministry , but mainly as a tool to minister to people on a daily basis! We are not even opened yet and have had people come in and ask for prayer! It is AWESOME!!! Then on the other side of the building is the church!!  God has also brought help from the sanctuary!
4Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

It is a walk of Faith to find out what God has for you to do and then start taking those steps one at a time! Believe me, as you do this he will be right there providing what you need.  We moved into the new building and didn’t know why the water wasn’t on, we weren’t aware that we needed to set up an account with a desposit. Well when we went down there and found out how much the deposit was, it was more than in the bank account, BUT GOD!!! He had it covered and supplied the need!

 Jeremiah 29:11:
11For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

I want to encourage you today that God has a plan for you, and it is a GOOD plan. It is a plan for your welfare, your peace. He has a final outcome in mind. You just need to want it and seek after it with all your heart! And once you start and you receive the vision from the Lord, write it down, hold fast to it and NEVER let go of it, because though the vision tarry wait for it, for it will surely come!

Below are a couple of pictures of the church and the thrift store in progress. We have Church service on Sundays at 2 pm with free dinner served afterwards, Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 we serve free hot meals to anyone who comes and then at 6pm we have a Recovery in ChristClass for those who are Recovering from any addictions and seeking biblical study on that subject. Then on Thursday evening we have our mid-week service at 7 pm. We also are connected with the ministry that feeds the hungry at the park also on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Zephyrhills. And the thrift store is in progress and should be up and running in a short time.

We would love you to come visit at anytime.

God Bless You,

Pastor Carol

Do not let your hearts be troubled! April 21, 2010

Good Morning my Friends,

In troubled times it can be easy for us to LET our hearts be troubled, but this is not what God has for his children. He has for you to be Strong in Him and in the Power of His Might!! I pray you will be blessed today as you read the scriptures and really meditate on the word of God for your life!!!

John 14 1DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.

2In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

3And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

4And [to the place] where I am going, you know the way.

5Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?

6Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

Here the Lord is telling us not to be troubled, distressed or agiated about Eternal Life. He tells us as long as we know him, Jesus personally, He is the Way the Truth and the Life. He has gone before us to prepare a place for us. We can rest in the knowledge of what He has done for us!

11Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father’s name convince you.]

12I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

The reason that we can live life in PEACE and without our hearts troubled and worried is because of what Jesus did for us. When he died for us and was ressurection and went to Heaven where he is still interceding on your behalf, He also gave us promises to stand with. He said if we STEADFASTLY BELIEVE we will do the works that he did while he was here and greater works. Just as there were people searching for freedom from bondage and healing and peace in Jesus’ day, there are still people searching for these today and He’s not here in person, but He is here in you and can work through you if you STEADFASTLY BELIEVE!!

13And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.

14[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

Wow, in the above verses ia a promise that you can stand on, if you are a steadfast believer.  Jesus said he will do whatever we ask in in name, so that the Father may be glorified. He said this twice, so that we would really receive it. You have to remember here, that Jesus is talking to steadfast believers, those that Love him and have his heart. God’s desire is for us to walk in the authority and dominion that he has given us. This is over our own lives and stading in the gap for others. Christians should not live lives filled with worry and anxiety…..

15If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

As you examine your life this morning, you are able to gauge your love walk with Jesus. How are you doing on keeping the word of God. Are you walking in love with others, are you walking in forgiveness…. your reaction to the word of God, shows HIM your heart and your love towards HIM.

16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

Christ did not leave us alone. He asked His Father to send us the Holy Spirit to the believers. The Holy Spirit dwells in us and is our Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby. With the Holy Spirit, that raised Christ from the dead living in us, we have no need to ever walk in fear or anxiety in any situation, Just call on Jesus, he is already living in you in the Holy Spirit and willing to do what you ask to Glorify His Father.

27Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

I love the above verse and how he said it. Christ has given us (BELIEVERS) His Peace. Not worldy peace, but his peace that passes all understanding….. He gave it to us, so it is ours and will always be ours, no one can take it away………….. BUT we don’t always walk in it….why not, because we allow ourselves to be troubled, fearful or worried. It is OUR CHOICE!!! God has not given us a Spirit of Fear, but of Power, Love and a Sound Mind. He has given us all we need to walk in peace in every situation of life. We need to be a Steadfast Believer, Keep His commandments, Ask and Believe and watch the Glory of God fill the earth once again as it did when Jesus walked on the earth!

Be Strong in the Lord TODAY and in the Power of His Might!!

God Bless you,

Pastor Carol

Turn and Live April 11, 2010

Good Morning Everyone!

Wow, Spring is here, you can actually see and feel the change in season! I believe it is the same in the spiritual realm. There is a mighty change of season upon us. Those things in our lives that may have been dormant for a period of time are now beginning to have life springing forth from them. We have a real opportunity in this season for the NEW!

One of the first things to walk into the NEW is to walk away from the OLD. We cannot take the old with us when God is doing a NEW thing in us!! We are going to look at a passage the Lord showed me a while ago in Ezekiel 18:19-32.

Passage Ezekiel 18:19-31:

19“Yet you say, Why should the son not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity?’ When the son has practiced justice and righteousness and has observed all My statutes and done them, he shall surely live.

20“The person who sins will die The son will not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son’s iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

God has connected us with people. We have family and we have friends, brothers and sisters in Christ. Even as parents we are very connected to our children and are accountable to God for the way we raise them. But there comes a time in everyones life where they are accountable to God for themselves. The son should not bear the iniquity of the father and the father should not bear the iniquity of the son, as we read in the previous verse. This does NOT mean that the actions of the father or son does not affect the other, because as we all know, OUR ACTIONS DOES AFFECT OTHERS!!! What it does mean there is a time where YOU are accountable to God for YOU!!!

21“But if the wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed and observes all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

22)All his transgressions which he has committed will not be remembered against him; because of his righteousness which he has practiced, he will live.

God is so gracious, he has given us a way out, but it is up to us whether to take it or not. We have to TURN FROM ALL OUR SINS AND ACCEPT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST JESUS, and then we can truly LIVE!!

23“Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord GOD, “rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?

God desires all of us to turn away from sin and live.  Even after we have repented and asked Jesus to be our Lord and Savior we need to be Holy even as He is Holy! He has given us all we need to live a Holy life with the power of the Holy Spirit in us. It is our decision…………

24“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die.

25“Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not right ‘ Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right?

26“When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and dies because of it, for his iniquity which he has committed he will die.

27“Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.

28“Because he considered and turned away from all his transgressions which he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

29“But the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Are My ways not right, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right?

30“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct,” declares the Lord GOD. Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you.

31“Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

God sent his son Jesus for us, so that when we accept him in to our heart, we are a new creature, old things are passed away and all has become new. He has given us Jesus so we can TURN and LIVE!! We are told in the new testament to repent of our sins… (repentance is turning away from sin and walking the other way).

I believe we are in a period of time where it is so important to walk consistantly in the presence of God. We need to examin our hearts daily to see if we have any wicked way in us and REPENT, turn and live!! God has the best for his children and he has a plan and a purpose for us to walk in. It is our decision what path we are taking.

TURN and LIVE, walk the path of righteousness that he has laid out before you!

God Bless you

Pastor Carol

Pine Trees Know When It’s Easter

Ever noticed the Pine tree crosses on Easter Sunday?

Pine trees start their new growth in the weeks before Easter –
if you look at the tops of the Pine trees two weeks before, you’ll see the yellow shoots.

As the days get close to Easter Sunday, the tallest shoot will branch off and form a cross.

By the time Easter Sunday comes around, you will see that most of the Pine trees
will have small yellow crosses on all of the tallest shoots…

Don’t Give up…. God will perfect those things that concern you! April 3, 2010

Filed under: Daily Revelation — Pastors Rick & Carol Mora @ 7:21 pm

Hi Everyone,

I want to take a few minutes and encourage you, when you have done all that you can do….STAND!!

I believe we all have things in our lives that we are trusting and believing to see God perfect, It may be something in your family, children, relationships, finances, health or anything else. We MUST STAND on the promises of God no matter what it looks like or the amount of time that has gone by. The word of God says “All things are possible for those who believe“. Do you believe?

Pastor Rick and I are so thankful to God and that his promises are yes and amen!! He will do what he says he will do, it may not come in our timing or the package we expected!! BUT it will come!!

As we are celebrating Easter weekend, the death, burial and ressurection of our Lord and Savior, it is a time to encourage ourselves in the Lord. even as David did!! No matter how DEAD something may look to you, it is never too dead for a resurrection!!

We have a tree outside the window of our home office and for months that tree has looked dead!! Very , very dead!!  But now, if you would look at those same branches that were totally bare and looked dead you would see little buds all along the branch! You would see new life springing forth!!

As we celecbrate this resurrection day, I want you to put your faith out there for the dream or desire or vision that God has given you, but appears to be dead!! IT IS NOT OVER!! I believe with my whole heart that this year and this season that we are in right now, we will see those things come to pass that we have waited for, for years! I know that in our life, Pastor Rick and I have been so blessed lately as we see God move on our behalf in those areas we have cried out to him about and believed, no matter what we saw. Now we are seeing the season change and buds are coming forth and OLD things are becoming NEW!!

My friends, if you have yet to see the promises of God manifested in your life, I encourage you with this scripture:

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Don’t get weary, DUE SEASON IS HERE!

God Bless you!

Pastor Carol

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you this day and thank you for the gift of your son, Lord Jesus. We thank you that He gave his life freely for us and
because of his blood that was shed we have the opportunity to be set free from sin and bondage. We thank you that as his body was beaten he purchased total healing for ours.  We thank you that he did not stay in the grave, but he conquored death and after 3 days was risen from the grave!  Lord you died , so we could live! Thank you! Thank you that you are still perfecting those things that concern us and that even those things that appear in the natural to have died, that the circumstance can change in an instant with the power of the Holy Spirit!! Thank you!

In Jesus Name, Amen

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
